We are huge sneakerheads who live and breathe selling the most exclusive and absolutely sort-after sneakers on the planet. We work hard every day to develop our business so that our customers can enjoy the world's coolest sneakers even more.
From being a hobby project to become the coolest sneaker store in Denmark
Back in early 2021, we, Frederik and Gustav, sat down to plan how our dream of launching The Sneaker Store could become a reality. Before that, we had both run our own hobby stores, where — just like today — we helped everyday consumers get their hands on the most exclusive sneakers on the planet.
Having already connected through the Danish sneaker community, it made perfect sense to join forces and continue our journey in the sneaker industry together.
We started brainstorming the idea in January 2021, when we were both in the final months of high school and university, respectively. Recognizing each other's strengths, the idea of moving from competitors to business partners began to take shape.
We were completely in sync when it came to our dreams and ambitions, and we knew that turning our passion for sneakers into a full-time pursuit would be the ultimate goal. That shared vision became the foundation for writing the first chapter of The Sneaker Store.
We launched the webshop on April 24, 2021, and since then, we’ve had countless incredible experiences — both as a team and with our amazing customers. From day one, we’ve felt an overwhelming level of support, which has fueled our growth. Today, our business has expanded to include a team of 13+ awesome individuals in the office.
In May 2022, Lasse joined The Sneaker Store as a partner, as we were determined to assemble the best team to build the ultimate sneaker business. Having known Lasse from the sneaker industry, we had always shared a strong connection, making his addition to the company a natural fit. With his background in fashion and sneakers, Lasse brought valuable expertise to the team.
We all share the same vision and ambitions for the future, making this partnership feel like it was meant to be from the start.
As dedicated sneakerheads, we are passionate about sharing our experiences—whether it’s behind the scenes at The Sneaker Store, interacting with our customers, or connecting with fellow sneaker lovers who think sneakers are the coolest thing on the planet.
A huge part of The Sneaker Store’s growth has come from our strong presence on TikTok and Instagram. We’ve built a massive community where we stay close to our customers, and they stay close to us.
We love making video content because it allows us to be personal, authentic, and interactive with our community. We have a large following across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube and have surpassed 190,000 followers across all platforms.
One of the key activities of our success has been our engaged community, which is why we dedicate countless hours to sharing knowledge and entertainment through video content.
The growth of The Sneaker Store has been nothing short of incredible, and along the way, we have reached some major milestones.
We have stepped into the YouTube game, expanding our content across platforms. We have collaborated with many youtubers, bringing fresh energy to the sneaker scene.
We have grown our team from on to two dedicated employees, strengthening our business. We have hosted our biggest TikTok giveaway to date, worth an impressive 45,000 DKK.
We have also launched our first-ever products, including sneaker cleaning and maintenance essentials. In other words, things have moved fast since we started the company in April 2021. When we received the call in the fall of 2022 informing us that we had been nominated for the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year award in the Startup/Scaleup2022 category, we were overwhelmed with pride. We are very proud of what we have built with The Sneaker Store today.

This network is the foundation of our ability to provide our customers with access to the rarest and most in-demand sneakers on the market.
HOW OUR CONCEPT WORKS
We are resellers of exclusive sneakers in what we call the aftermarket. This means that the sneakers we sell were initially released and sold through a select number of sneaker webshops and boutiques across major European cities.
Both private buyers and businesses purchase these sneakers upon release, fully aware of the huge demand for limited editions from Nike, Jordan Brand, New Balance, and more. In other words, sneakers with high demand often end up in the hands of individuals looking to profit from reselling, capitalizing on their exclusivity.
We have a huge selection of sneakers that we can order directly to our warehouse based on demand, offering over 600 different models in almost all sizes from 36 to 47.5. All sizes are always available on our webshop, with either an estimated delivery time of 1-2 business days or 5-14 business days. Items with 1-2 business days delivery time are in stock at our headquarters in Aalborg and ready to be shipped immediately. Items with 5-14 business days delivery time are sourced from our trusted partners across Europe, Asia, and the U.S., ensuring that even the most exclusive sneakers remain accessible to our customers.
